Gospel Spots is a National Non-Profit media ministry, supported entirely by donations and gifts from people who want to help spread the Gospel using TV, Radio, Billboards, even the movie screen of the local Theater. Gospel Spots’ purpose is to “Evangelize America Through Media” by using the very same media that people see and hear every day to spread the Gospel. Gospel Spots has created high quality evangelistic spots and artwork and negotiated discounted rates with the media companies. As people give to the ministry, Gospel Spots buys the media time to place the ads.


Since we began in 1998, Gospel Spots has run campaigns in 33 US states and literally millions and millions of people have both seen and heard the Gospel through the ministry of Gospel Spots.


The highlight campaign was a TV spot run during the Super Bowl XXXIX in the Portland/Southwest Washington area where over 1 million people saw the Gospel message at the same time.


The message Gospel Spots presents is the most powerful message in the world…the Gospel message of salvation. No fluff. No sales pitches. Just a pure Gospel message. The tools we use are the most powerful communication vehicles in history. The average person watches over 3 hours of TV a day! The average person listens to radio over 3 hours a day! Most people see a billboard somewhere in their daily drive and most people see a movie at least a couple times a year. Mass media reaches the masses!

Dr. Scott Spore is also a Gospel Spots Board Member. He is excited to be involved with Gospel Spots and has been a supporter since 2004. He and his family reside in Lubbock, TX.

Rev. Tom Demaree is currently on the Board of Gospel Spots and is the Founder and Director of Pentecost Walk/RU4ONE Ministries. He and his wife, Deanna, have been close friends with Bob and Pati since 1986. “I was drawn to the vision of Gospel Spots long before its inception, when it was still just a dream of Bob’s,” says Tom. “I admire Bob as much as anyone I’ve ever known and am not only thankful to be his brother in Christ, but deeply honored to be his friend.” Tom and Deanna have three children and they make their home in Franklin, TN.


 
Emily Steubs has been a Gospel Spots supporter for over 10 years, and has been the Office Manager at Gospel Spots for the last 4 years. “I remember when Gospel started back in 1998. How exciting to realize a dream of using the same media we see everyday to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was available...all we had to do...was do it! I am grateful to be a part of this unique, evangelistic ministry.” Emily and her husband Justin live in La Quinta, CA.


 
Gospel Spots was started in 1998 by Bob Anthony Fogal. Bob began his career in media in the 70‘s. when he worked at some of the nation’s best Top 40 stations, including K-100 in Los Angeles, KGW in Portland, and KFRC in San Francisco. In 1977, Bob joined KHJ in Los Angeles. In the early 80’s, Bob started EMF Broadcasting, the parent company of both the K-LOVE and Air 1 Radio Networks. EMF signals are now heard in 200 cities across America, broadcasting contemporary Christian music. Gospel Spots had been a dream of Bob’s since the very beginning and it remains one of the only evangelistic mass media ministries in the US. The first Gospel Spots campaign (seven billboards, and Gospel Spots on the top secular radio stations) was seen in Portland, OR and campaigns continue today all across the US. Bob and his wife Pati live in La Quinta, CA and they have 4 children.
